What Chess-Arena is

A chess game with a virtual-coin economy. Coins, items and everything else in the game are virtual: they are a licence to use inside the app, have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money or anything of value, cannot be transferred between players, and are not refunded except where the law requires it. Nothing in the app is real-money gambling.

Who may play

You must be 18 or older. By playing you confirm that you are.

Fair play and behaviour

No cheating, no tampering with the app or its data, no using other software to pick your moves, no abuse or harassment in chat, no pretending to be someone else, no arranging games to pass coins or rating between accounts. We may remove players and reset their progress for this.

Online games

Online games run on servers we do not control and can be slow or unavailable. A game that ends because a connection is lost is settled by the rules shown in the game (a player who is gone for a long time loses). Ratings and the rank list are for fun and not a guarantee of anything.

Puzzle Pass

The Puzzle Pass and Puzzle Pass Pro are monthly subscriptions bought through Apple or Google. They renew automatically each month at the price shown until you cancel in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings, at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the pass stays active until the end of the period paid for.

Your account

Your progress is saved to a game account on our server. Link it to Sign in with Apple or Google (Quests > Account & Friends) to get it back on a new phone; without that, a deleted app or a lost phone can mean lost progress. One person, one account: accounts, coins and items may not be sold or traded.

Changes and ending

We may change the game, its prices and these terms. You can stop at any time and delete your account and data with Settings > Delete account.

Our responsibility

The game is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for lost virtual items, interrupted games or indirect losses. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law.
